Summer Wedding Photography in Dartmouth.
I must admit one of my shortcomings is I don't tend to blog enough. For me blogging is still a comparatively new thing and I should really find the time to put up more posts. So here we have an update, prompted by this lovely photograph of a bride and her friends enjoying summer sunshine in Dartmouth.
The secret to pleasing images like these is being able to balance fill flash with the available light. As a general rule of thumb, if you can see that flash has been used in the wedding photography, then it's too much. Flash guns these days are really powerful and pack a punch, a professional photographer often needs to 'dial down' the power settings and also take advantage of a modern digital cameras ability to sync at high shutter speeds.
I love portraiture, that's what brought me to wedding photography in the first place.
